Born and raised on a small hobby farm in Carver County, Jamie has always had a passion for helping others. At a young age, she knew her future profession would include patient care.
Initially, she went to North Dakota State University for a degree in veterinary technology. After earning her bachelor's degree and working in the veterinary field, she decided she wanted to carry her passion for helping into human medicine.
She went back to school at Century College and obtained her Orthotic and Prosthetic Fitter Associates degree and graduated with an Orthotic and Prosthetic Clinical Application Diploma in 2021. Jamie has been with Rebound O&P since 2021 and is now a ABC Certified Orthotic Assistant. She is currently working toward becoming an ABC Certified Prosthetic Assistant.
In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, pets and being creative. The field of orthotics and prosthetics is the perfect fit as it allows her to express her creative thinking and problem-solving skills while fulfilling her long held passion of improving the quality of life of those around her.
